Hey, guess what? I visited one more country in Asia and it was Vietnam. To date; I have visited and been in 8 countries; Turkey, USA, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. I have been for a transit in Dubai and Hong Kong (which should make I have been to 9 countries; including UAE!). I got to
be at Dubai International Airport twice; 2009 and 2011. Alhamdullillah syukran jazilah.....I am so blessed that I have managed to many countries so far. Now I am going to write about my visit to Vietnam; in particular Ho Chi Minh city and Mekong Delta.

It was actually a trip that I planned with a few of my students to visit our sister school there. Then, we got a lot of response from the school community and some relatives were interested too. Later, it crossed my mind to make a 3 in 1 visit and I started to plan everything since February 2012. What is the 3 in 1? First, it was going to be an internationalization programme, which including bench-marking, Choral Speaking Competition
and Poem Recital International Level too. See what I mean by 3 in 1 (a popular concept nowadays!)?
Day 1 - 17 November 2012
We got on board our school bus on 17 November, 2012 at 6.20 p.m and headed to LCCT Sepang. We had a "first-time ever" sleep on the bench & cold floor at LCCT and woke up in the morning to practise Choral Speaking!
Day 2 - 18 November 2012
We boarded the plane to Ho Chi Minh city at 2.50 p.m. and arrived there at around 4.00 p.m. The hotel marketing representative; Miss Erica Nguyen welcomed us at the airport. There were 39 people altogether in this trip. Upon arrival, I checked in at Mifuki Boutique Hotel at Le Ann Xanh Road District 1. We straight away walked to the nearby night market to shop in instant! Fuh....Malaysian, shopholic!
Day 3 - 19 November 2012
Early in the morning at 8.00 we boarded a bus to Thuc Hanh Saigon School to participate in a Choral Speaking Competition and Poem Recital there.
Day 4 - 20 November 2012
We went early in the morning to visit Delta Mekong.
Day 5 - 21 November 2012
Time to go back to Malaysia!
Day 6 - 22 November 2012
We arrived in Penang!
