My Indonesia Visit - Acheh and Medan 2011

Tsunami 2004....it was devastating. Almost everything had been washed away by huge waves. I was there; in the memorial park & tsunami museum-center in Banda Acheh, Indonesia from 18 till 22 November, 2011.

Together with my colleagues and students, we explored Melayu Acheh and Medan villages and city. We went to historical sites and savoured Acheh's delicacies. It was sumptuous and scrumptious! I was fortunate to be able to visit Indonesia.....my seventh country so far. The first was Singapore, 2nd Thailand, 3 rd Turkey, 4 th Taiwan, 5 th China, and 6 th USA. This year 2012; I would be going to Vietnam! However, I still long to step my foot on the Holy Land of Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Oh Allah, when will that be? Grant me my wish!Ameen. Oh ya, in Acheh we visited 2 schools;Madrasah Tungkop, Acheh, SMNP 3 Langsa, Acheh, and an orphanage Melaka-State-Government funded. Let's us take a look at some of my adventure in Sumatera!
